Our History: A Legacy of Service and Trust

Like many cornerstones of Brantford, our firm’s storied past begins in the post WW1 era. Albert H. Boddy, upon returning from military service in France, joined XYZ to form the law firm XYZ. When XYZ was called to sit on the Supreme Court of Ontario as a judge, Mr. Boddy brought in Mr. Ryerson, ABC, and DEF. The firm quickly gained a reputation for providing trusted legal services to our community.

As Brantford further developed into a vibrant medium-sized city, Boddy Ryerson LLP grew alongside it to become a trusted general full-service firm. From office to office, we maintained the core values that inspired our firm’s founders. Today, we are proud to carry on serving our community with personalized and professional legal services across a diversity of practice areas, including real estate, litigation, family law, wills and estates, and corporate-commercial law.
